  • Proyectos de casa: cortinas sencillas y con poca tela

    Hemos hecho unas cortinas a partir de los retales que teníamos disponibles en casa.

    Os pongo el detalle de la tela y el detalle de la parte de arriba.

    Fijaos en las anillas se tiene en cada una de ellas un botón distinto. Esto le da un toque especial a nuestra cortina.

    Al ser un retal no teníamos de la suficiente para hacer muchas tablas. Por ello hemos optado por hacer un único tablón central.

    Cada anilla tiene un ancho de 5 centímetros y una longitud de 17 centímetros. La banda marrón, tiene una altura de 7 cm.

    La cortina está sin planchar, por problemas logísticos.

    Los mandos están demasiado juntos. No hemos encontrado otro que funcione mejor.

  • Video tutorial para poner una funda nórdica enrollando

    Lo he probado hoy en casa, con mi funda de cama de 150, y ha funcionado. ¡Hasta ahora siempre he tenido que pedir ayuda!

    Pasos a tener en cuenta

    1. Estirar del revés la funda nórdica. Es decir, con lo de dentro, afuera.
    2. Estirar encima el relleno
    3. Enrollar.
    4. Desenrollar de forma conjunta relleno con uno de los lados de la funda.
    5. Voila!

    • Resultado: Ha hecho bolas.

  • Confección de ropa de niños

    Me encanta coger ideas para hacer luego yo misma. Nunca las hago 100% igual, porque, para eso, compro directamente el vestido y acabamos mucho antes.

    Sin embargo, sí me gusta ver cómo son las tendencias del año para adaptar mis propias ideas. Por cierto, este año es el de la orquídea radiante. Lo veremos muchísimo en telas, accesorios, cojines, decoración….

    Para hacer los patrones, hasta ahora estoy comprando un vestido de la talla escogida. Ahora estamos haciendo de la 92; pero voy siempre justa. Por ello, he decidido comprar el especial burda Burda Kids Sewing Pattern 9447 – Dress Sizes: 2-7 Years   que es lo más parecido a un patrón base que he encontrado hasta el momento para trajes de niña.

    Para patrones de adulto, una ayuda inestimable son las tablas de medidas de como cubrir un cuerpo.

  • Comprar o no comprar una vivienda en 2014

    Todos asistimos a la vorágine actual de precios cada día más bajos y, la presión de amigos y familiares sobre «todo el dinero que perdemos en un alquiler».

    Desde mi punto de vista, los que no compraron en su día (pongamos 2008) ya han recuperado el dinero echado en el alquiler con creces.

    Alquilar te da ventajas:

    • Tiempo para estabilizar la vida común
    • Independencia del barrio y del propio inmueble
    • Tranquilidad ante los gastos que supone una casa en propiedad: derramas, arreglos de tejados, cambios de tuberías…

    ¿Es buen momento para comprar una vivienda?

    • Los precios son bajos, pero hay que conseguir financiación.
    • La inestabilidad laboral sigue siendo algo. Es arriesgado meternos en gastos a largo plazo, y nunca superiores al 30% de nuestros ingresos familiares.
    • El alquiler y las cuentas vivienda sigue desgravando para muchas parejas; la compra no.
      En mi opinión, esto es un agravio comparativo, que será corregido en el tiempo; pero, por el momento, es así.

    En mi opinióin, yo seguiría esperando, y dando tiempo al mercado de seguir bajando los precios, y al mercado laboral de estabilizarse y asegurar mi puesto de trabajo.

    Eso sí, si encontráis  la casa exactamente que queréis, tenemos un punto de valor incalculable que hará que  pactemos con el vendedor y, debemos afrontar la compra con seguridad porque es la decisión correcta.

  • Schoko kirschkuchen

    Ingredientes

    • 180 g Azúcar
    • 200 g Mantequilla
    • 4 Huevos
    • 100-200g Chocolate
    • 125 g Almendras troceadas
    • 3 cucharaditas de Ron
    • 1 cucharadita de Canela
    • 1 cucharadita de Levadura
    • 125 g Harina
    • 1 Vaso Cerezas en conserva (mejor que en almíbar). Variante con dátiles en  ron durante una noche. Nosotros hemos usado para esta receta las cerezas de lidl, que venden en navidad.

    Elaboración
    Elaboración del bizcocho

    1. Trocear el chocolate y reservar
    2. Mezclar azúcar con huevo
    3. Añadir harina y mezclar
    4. Derretir la mantequilla y agregar
    5. Añadir la almendra,el chocolate y la canela.
    6. 180ºC durante 30-35 minutos

    Nuestro lavaplatos Bosch SMS40D12EU -01, es estupendo, sencillísimo, pero, cuando tiene algún bloqueo no hay manera de saber qué le está pasando.

    Al menos, Bosch ha puesto online las instrucciones en inglés y en español para poderlas consultar de forma cómoda.¿Quien recuerda dond guarda los libros de instrucciones?

    Suelen poner en la apertura del lavaplatos, una etiqueta identificativa con todos los datos reseñables:

    El lavavajillas no seca y tarda mucho. ¿Necesito echar abrillantador aunque venga en las pastillas de jabón de lavaplatos?

    Usamos pastillas con jabón y abrillantador integrado.

    No le vale. El lavaplatos detecta que el depósito de abrillantador no está lleno y modifica los programas haciéndolos mucho más largos y sin pasar bien por el proceso de secado.

    El recolector de sal está lleno de agua.

    Parece que es normal. A mí también me ha sorprendido.

     

    Parpadeo intermitente de los dos primeros leds tras el llenado de sal y abrillantador.

    Es necesario ir girando la rueda grande (el selector de programa), hasta que, de repente se apaga. En el manual viene explicado de forma confusa qué hay que hacer para informar al lavaplatos de que ya hemos rellenado el abrillantador.

  • Armario empotrado: aglomerado

    Al final hemos optado por hacer los armarios empotrados en casa. La carpintería original de la casa (puertas y ventanas) es blanca, así que hemos optado por ese color para los armarios:

    Estos son los consejos que os damos a la hora de planificar un armario empotrado en casa.

    Consideraciones iniciales a la hora de hacer el armario

    La carpintería blanca no recarga la estancia, pero las puertas tienen un pequeño relieve para no parecer una cocina

    Espejo para ver el resultado al vestirnos. Pero no en puertas completas.

    Medidas del espejo: 60cm a 180cm.

    Estas medidas permiten verte la cara y los pies, y no dan sensación de probador.

  • Recetas de turrones para hacer en casa

    Turrón de chocolate, pistacho y almendras

    Ingredientes

    • Tableta de chocolate dolca negro
    • Tableta de chocolate con leche dolca
    • 50 g de mantequilla
    • 50g de pistachos troceados
    • 150 g de almendras troceadas

    Elaboración

    1. Fundir a fuego lento el chocolate con la mantequilla.
    2. En un molde que no se pega, dejar los elementos sólidos: pistachos y almendras.
    3. Verter el chocolate y a la nevera 4 horas.

    Turrón de Ron, Dátil, Nueces y almendras.

    Ingredientes

    • Tableta de chocolate dolca negro
    • Tableta de chocolate con leche dolca
    • Chorro de Ron
    •  8 dátiles troceados.
    • Lo que admita de nueces y almendras. Unos 50 gramos de cada.

    Elaboración

    1. Trocear los dátiles, almentras y nueces.
    2. Derretir a fuego lento (50ºC) ambas tabletas de chocolate, con el chorro de ron.
    3. Mezclar todo, y rellenar el molde de silicona
    4. Esperar unas 4 horas para que solidifique.
